Senior AccountantFull-Time (40 hours/week)West Palm Beach office

The Senior Accountant reports to the Controller and is primarily responsible for the everyday accounting in the organization. Responsible for applying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to maintain and control the general ledger accounts and business transactions of the organization. Other responsibilities include posting journal entries, monthly closing, financial reporting, accounts review, variance analysis, and special projects as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare journal entries and collect, analyze, and summarize account information for monthly and year-end closing.
  2. Manage general ledger and subsidiary journals, including cash and credit card receipts, cash disbursements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue, payroll accounts.
  3. Analyze and reconcile specific general ledger account balance sheets and P&L accounts.
  4. Process cash disbursements on a weekly basis.
  5. Process general ledger transactions and post entries.
  6. Reconcile all credit card purchases to monthly statements.
  7. Prepare documents necessary to reconcile bank accounts, including investment accounts.
  8. Maintain amortization and associated schedules of prepaid expenses and deferred revenue accounts.
  9. Maintain AR balance and ensure all items are accounted for and accounts are current.
  10. Assist with the development and implementation of accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes, as necessary.
  11. Act as lead and collaborate closely with the Accounts Payable processing and reconciliation of Accounts.
  12. Assist in the annual budgeting process.
  13. Assist in the annual financial audit as required.
  14. Process 1099 forms annually.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent
  2. 5 plus years of accounting experience
  3. Experience working in a not-for-profit environment preferred
  4. Problem-solving, analytical ability, and interpersonal skills
  5. Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting processes
  6. Advanced experience using Excel and other products in Microsoft Office suite
  7. Knowledge of QuickBooks accounting systems

The Staff Accountant assists the Senior Accountant. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of accounting processes. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and possess strong analytical and organizational skills.

Floor Nurse, RNPart-Time and Full-Time Positions AvailableOpenings in Palm Beach Gardens and Boca Raton

Palm Beach Women’s Clinic does not perform or refer for abortion services, nor will be permitted from any of the clinics or offices.

The position of the Floor Nurse requires a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best nursing care with little supervision. The Floor Nurse will be part of a team that provides support and care to the clinic clients. The Floor Nurse will maintain a professional standard of care. In this position, the Floor Nurse will work in conjunction with the staff of the medical clinic to ensure that clients are receiving the best medical, nursing, psychological, and spiritual care possible. The Floor Nurse will be fully trained to complete abdominal and transvaginal ultrasounds and will be required to complete an annual competency assessment.

The Floor Nurse will be responsible for a variety of nursing duties related to client care, procuring abdominal and transvaginal ultrasounds, STD testing and treatment referrals, client education, completion of client visits, assessment documentation, and follow-up post-appointment. The Floor Nurse will also be responsible for the maintenance of all laboratory-related records and ensuring that the medical policies and procedures and infection control policies are adhered to and implemented.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Nursing degree from an accredited school.
  2. Licensure granted by the State of Florida, Department of Health, Division of Medical Quality Assurance.
  3. The ability to read, write and communicate in English.
  4. The ability to read, write and communicate in Spanish would be an advantage but is not a requirement.
  5. A certificate in BLS
  6. All certifications and registrations must be maintained, active, and current.
  7. A minimum of 2 years relevant nursing experience. OB/GYN experience is desirable.
  8. Be willing to participate in activities that promote professional self-growth and development, meeting the minimum requirements for continuing education.
  9. Knowledge of how to use a computer is a requirement.

Ultrasound Trainer, RDMS32-40 hours/weekMust be willing to travel to Boca and Palm Beach Gardens

The position of the RDMS trainer is to develop, instruct, and implement the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program with the purposes of training all clinic floor nurses and volunteer floor nurses in OB Sonography in accordance with the curriculum standards and objectives. The RDMS may fill in for shifts at the clinic.

Must be willing to travel to all locations.

The position of RDMS assists clients in life affirming decisions by performing limited OB Ultrasounds and conducting pregnancy tests. She will assess client needs and ensure accurate implementation of physician orders. The RDMS will provide education for clients and plan follow up care in collaboration with the nursing and advocacy teams in the clinics.

Administrative Assistant/Scheduler32 hours/weekPalm Beach Gardens

The Administrative Assistant/Scheduler’s primary duty and responsibility will be to schedule clients and be the front desk assistant. Must have a personable and positive disposition that is very welcoming to clients. They must be able to work diligently under pressure. They must have the ability to effectively communicate via phone, text, and in person, ensuring that all their duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner. They will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

This position includes being able to multitask answering the phone, entering data into the EMR system, track leads, and follow up on messages that have been left for the clinic, as well as greeting clients when they come into the clinic and ensure that the necessary paperwork has been completed by the client prior to seeing the Client Advocate and or Nurse.

This position requires a strong work ethic and the ability to keep the confidentiality of the clinic.

Marketing Assistant and Graphic Artist40 hours/weekWest Palm Beach office

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, with video editing skills being a plus. This role requires excellent organizational abilities, a knack for taking projects from conception to completion, and strong computer skills.
